Australian Professional Learning Online is excited to have you interested in our courses. The following guide shows the step by step enrolment process. If you have any issues that are not covered in this guide please refer to the FAQ or contact us on contact@aplonline.com.au.

Signing up to Australian Professional Learning Online is Free, one off course fees occur when enrolling into a chosen course.


Prepare to enrol

Step 1: Collect your documents and information. You must have the following to enrol

  • Email address.
  • Current contact details.

Step 2: Use a desktop, laptop or mobile device

  • Use of a desktop, laptop or mobile device. You’ll need to enable pop ups. Australian Professional Learning Online uses cookies, more information on this is available in the privacy policy. You will also need internet access to enrol.

Creating an account

Step 1: Go to https://aplonline.com.au/ and click the login button at the top of the screen

Step 2: Sign in

  • If you have not signed in before click ‘new account’ or if you already have a username and password sign in now. If you have forgotten your username or password, you can also have a new one sent to your email address at this point

Step 3: Sign up for an account – if you have not done so already, click on ‘New account’ and fill in your details.

Step 4: Once you have signed up for an account you will receive an email containing the following message.

Hi ‘Username’,

A new account has been requested at ‘Australian Professional Learning Online’
using your email address.

To confirm your new account, please go to this web address:

https://aplonline.com.au/moodle/login/confirm.php?data=gMfxY07II80FxZz/username
In most mail programs, this should appear as a blue link
which you can just click on. If that doesn’t work,
then cut and paste the address into the address
line at the top of your web browser window.

Step 5: Click on the link to confirm your new account

Step 6: Go to https://aplonline.com.au/ and click the login button at the top of the screen, you should have an account set up now.

Step 7: Put username and password in and press ‘Log in’


Course Enrolment:

Now you have an account for Australian Professional Learning Online you can sign up for any courses you want. Follow these steps to enrol:

Step 1: Login using the steps above, this will take you to your home page, if you have already signed up for a course it will be shown here.

Step 2: Scroll down the page and you will see the heading ‘Course categories’, pick a category that suits what you are looking for or below this there is a list of all available courses.

Step 3: Click on ‘Access’ in order to gain more information on your chosen course

Step 4: Clicking on ‘Access’ will take you to a page with more information on this course. If the course is open for enrolments, you will then be able to purchase this course. If it is unavailable at this time a message will come up saying ‘You can not enrol yourself in this course’.

Step 5: In order to purchase this course, click on the ‘Send payment via PayPal’ link

Note: when enrolling you agree to the terms and conditions of use.

Step 6: Once payment has been completed and processed you will be automatically enrolled into your chosen course. This may take some time so allow 1-2 business days. Any more than this, please contact us with your payment and account details and we will sort it out asap. Be sure to log out and back in again if the course has not shown on your home page.


What’s next?

  • Once you have logged in and enrolled you can start working through your course. Australian Professional Learning Online is based on student centred learning. As such you can work through the course material at your own pace and complete the work and tasks at any time, day or night.
  • Support during the course is available through the teacher found in your chosen course or via the ‘contact us’ if you are unable to contact the leading teacher.
