The focus of this course is to learn how to build and incorporate a positive student profile and use these new skills to help guide the development of an individual learning plan in a school environment.
Course Certification:
This course includes or develops strategies in relation to the following AITSL/APST standards to improve your teaching practices and pedagogy: 1.6, 3.7, 4.1, 6.2 and 6.4. As these AITSL standards are covered, this course is recognised as contributing 2 hours of professional development for Australian teachers. *Due to recent changes in NESA certification, NSW accredited PD certification is pending. This course is still counted towards your elective PD.

In this course we cover the basics of positive student profiles, focussing on the developmental and implementation processes. We also work through some examples of how to incorporate the findings into an individual learning plan, covering some example strategies for an individual student with a disability.
