This course is designed to develop your understanding of literacy, it looks at key theories, typical development and what it all means for your teaching practices. This course is the equivalent to 3 hours professional development.
Course Certification:
This course includes or develops strategies in relation to the following AITSL/APST standards to improve your teaching practices and pedagogy.
1.1, 1.2, 1.5, 1.6, 2.1, 2.5, 2.6, 3.3, 3.4, 4.1, and 6.2 and is recognised as contributing 3 hours of professional development for Australian teachers. *Due to recent changes in NESA certification, NSW accredited PD certification is pending. This course is still counted towards your elective PD.
